A meeting of minds

On Saturday, April 18, Gratton's science labs were charged with energy as we hosted Grade 12 Physical Sciences learners from Siphoso High. This was an intensive, collaborative seminar designed to sharpen minds and master the complexities of the matric syllabus.

The seminar brought together two groups of dedicated students with a singular goal: academic excellence. In the high-stakes world of Grade 12 Physical Science, collaboration is often the catalyst for a deeper understanding.

As the "class of 2026" marches toward their final examinations, events like these are vital. They remind us that education is not a solo journey but a collective effort. We would like to extend a warm thank you to the educators from both schools who organised the session and, most importantly, to the learners of Siphoso High for their discipline and enthusiasm.

"True science is a collaborative effort. Today showed that when we work together, no formula is too complex to solve." — Reflections from the Science Department.
