Our primary school garden project begins!

Sprouting success.

Our primary school has officially turned over a new leaf with the launch of our long-awaited garden project! They have started by carefully sowing seeds for a variety of peppers, spinach, and beetroot into specialised seed trays. Right now, these trays might just look like neat rows of dark, damp soil, but they are actually busy at work beneath the surface as we wait for our future harvest to "wake up." Getting everything started was a brilliant hands-on science lesson, teaching them the importance of perfect planting depths for our pepper seeds and how to create the ideal crumbly soil environment for our beetroot to grow strong. We are now in the exciting "waiting phase," where we are practicing our patience and keeping the trays warm until we see the very first signs of germination. We’ll be keeping a close watch on these trays until the seedlings are sturdy enough to be moved into our outdoor garden beds, so keep an eye out for our next update when those first green shoots finally break through!
