Our students had an action - packed day at Eshowe High for their annual Winter Festival on the 14th of March. It was a busy day full of sports and competition, and our learners really gave it their all.
Our rugby team had a great run on the field. They played with a lot of heart and managed to make it all the way to the semi-finals. It wasn't an easy path, but the boys stuck together and showed some great teamwork against some tough competition.
Over at the chess tournament, things were just as intense. Our players competed in individual rated games, which can be pretty stressful. We are happy to share that they walked away with two solid wins. It was great to see them staying focused and making every move count.
It was a proud weekend for Gratton. Whether they were on the rugby pitch or at the chess board, our students represented us well and showed a lot of spirit. Well done to everyone who took part!
The day at Eshowe High was a reminder that schools are not only places of academic learning but also spaces where learners grow into responsible, well rounded individuals. By investing in such activities, we invest in the future of our youth.
